Plan Your Visit To Blagaj Castle:
As you enter the charming town of Blagaj, follow the road straight towards the “tekke” (a Muslim religious building) and make a left turn by the large parking lot. Continue your journey uphill, and be aware that the road will soon narrow to a single lane, so exercise caution. After approximately 5 minutes, you will reach an unpaved parking lot. It’s advisable to park closer to the beginning of the lot, as the end leads to a path popular for rock climbing in the area.
To reach the castle, take the first path that leads uphill. The path is well-maintained, but it’s recommended to bring water with you, as the walk takes about 20 minutes one way without factoring in stops for photographs of lizards, turtles, flowers, and rock formations. Enjoy the scenic beauty and capture memorable moments along the way.
